SOMEONE’S BIKE

Description

I am not just a bike
I am someone’s bike
Together we go
To work
to visit and now and then to a show.
Sometimes I get a wash but that happens all in a rush, because
My lady love is a busy bee
To her life is fun and me ‘I am her bike you know’ it fits to a tee.
One day I nearly end up in the canal because her friend went off her bent.
That was quite a narrow escape and I dread to think I have to part from my lady friend.

So when you see a bike at a canal, a tree or a train, remember that is someone’s bike, someone’s best friend.
Not a good weather friend an all weather friend, like me!

An acrylic painting after I visited Amsterdam in the Autumn. Made with care to detail with Acrylic paint. When I saw the bike it almost felt like it screamed to be painted, so I took a photo and just did that.
